You need air purifiers because particles exist in the air of your workplace, created by movement, transport and production processes. Most of these particles, including dust, smoke, fumes and odours cause unnecessary cleaning and maintenance costs. The most toxic of these can seriously endanger the health of your employees. In the long run, causing absenteeism and a negative corporate image. Our air purifiers clean your air – meaning you don't have to worry about any of the above!

Industrial air purifiers are not replacing ventilation. Ventilation transports your used room air (CO 2) out of the building and replaces it with fresh air. Air purifiers, on the other hand, trap harmful particles that are present in both fresh and stale air. Air purifiers are particularly recommended in buildings without windows.

First of all, both are able to remove dust and other particles from the air. But there are some differences between professional air purifiers and an air washer. In contrast to the air purifier, which can contain many filters of different strengths, the air washer only uses water as a filter, which makes it less efficient (in terms of air purification). However, air washers also humidify your air.

For us, air purification is not an investment, but part of a flexible subscription model. So you don't have to worry about a write-off.

Air purifiers are unable to catch particles that have already settled on surfaces. That's why it is important that air cleaners are placed strategically in a room, where they can capture airborne particles. Therefore, their best location is directly above the source of dust – not on the floor. But don't worry – we'll take care of the installation for you.

Our air purifiers and filters deal with all kinds of airborne particles. These include coarse particles, fine dust, vapours, bacteria and germs. Even oil or fog particles and odours can be removed. In scientific terms, these are particles of sizes PM 10 (= 10 micrometres (µm)), PM 2.5 (= 2.5 micrometres (µm)) and PM 1 (= 1 micrometre (µm)).

Industrial air purifiers only filter airborne particles. So if dust and the like are thrown up from the floor in your company, these particles can be absorbed by the air cleaner. The closer it's positioned to the dust source, the more effectively it works.

At Zehnder Clean Air Solutions, we select the air filters that go into your air cleaning devices. With the help of dust measurements, we know exactly what types of particles you have, and in what concentrations they are present. That's why you can be sure that you'll always get the most effective solution for your company from us – and we'll take care of fitting the right air filter into your industrial air purifier.

Filter replacement for dirty filters depends on the dust levels in your facility. Normally, filters in an industrial environment have to be changed every 3, 6 or 9 months. In an office, every 12 months may be sufficient.

Every environment is different so that's why we offer flexible installation options. For example, air purifiers can be installed on ceilings, walls, shelves or columns – and even placed on the floor.

Quite simply, yes, all Zehnder air purifiers have a guarantee.

The amount of energy Zehnder air purifiers use depends on the air flow setting, but it's about 25 % of the electricity consumption of a conventional extraction system. By using our CARA app, you can save even more energy because it makes energy consumption smarter.

Both industrial purifiers give your company the clean air it needs but there are differences between the CleanAir and CleanAir Max industrial air purifiers. The CleanAir has space for a maximum of two filters. However, the CleanAir Max is completely different and can be expanded in a modular way. This means that we can react even more easily to changes or new requirements, at any time.

How loud the CleanAir and CleanAir Max industrial air purifiers are depends on the airflow setting. With an optimal air flow setting, the noise level ranges from 44 dB(A) to 65 dB(A), depending on the air purifier model.

When filtering corona viruses, it’s not the air purifiers themselves that make the difference – but the filters that are installed. It’s worth noting, that filters which capture corona viruses are known as HEPA filters – preferably in the HEPA 13 and 14 classes. We use either a CleanAir or CleanAir Max with a corresponding HEPA 14 filter.

How loud the Zehnder air purifiers with virus protection are depends on the airflow setting. For example, with an air flow of 1,000 m³/h, the volume is 50 decibels. This is comparable to the chirping of birds.

Zehnder virus air purifiers filter all microorganisms that are airborne. It doesn't matter whether they are corona viruses, bacteria or fungal spores.

In an office (or other less dusty environments) the virus air purifier filters will last about 12 months.

In these locations, we can remove up to 99.995 % of airborne viruses and other microorganisms. Each filter comes with an individual test certificate for your peace of mind.

The cost of CARA varies depending on the package and the number of air purifiers that it's linked to. You'll receive a no-obligation quote from one of our specialists, to suit your needs.

No, you won't need further air quality measurements with CARA. This isn't necessary as you'll always have an overview of your air quality in real time.

Yes, Zehnder Clear Air Solutions has access to your CARA data. The advantage of this for you is that we can intervene in good time before a device fails, for example, guaranteeing that you'll always enjoy the best air quality.

Dust measurements to determine the air quality are performed by our technical business support team. This happens at least once before installing our air purification systems and once after. This enables you to see clearly how your purifiers are working. And with CARA, you can keep an eye on your air quality at all times.

Before we install our air purifiers, we carry out holistic dust measurements to determine the dust concentration in your company. This is what we base your solution on and which devices you need. As a rule, we install our devices directly at the dust source to ensure that the particles don’t harm employees, machines or goods.
